Earlier this month the girls held their first team bonding weekend of the season. It is a tradition of the older girls on the team to set up a team bonding weekend early in the fall to give freshmen a chance to become even more integrated in the team, and for the whole team to come together to set up how close they will become throughout the year. This year the girls participated in several team bonding activities including a high ropes course, a campfire, games, and most importantly laughs and fun.
Another team bonding weekend occurs a little later in the season where team and individual goals are set. This one is geared towards getting mentally prepared to swim fast at meets!
